I was sorry to hear of Joe's passing. Joe was the heart of the "Gem State Grotto" caving group in the 70's and early 80's in Idaho. We took many a caving trip with him and other members of the grotto. Joe was the leader, the teacher, and best friend on those underground ventures. Someday I will see you in Valhalla, Joe!
