Condolence: A truly special person does not even begin to describe this sweet lady. With 100% sincerity I say that Marjorie was the nicest human being I've ever known. Everyone who knew her agrees. My daughter Julie considered her a best friend and spent much of her childhood with Marjorie. Julie credits her love of nature and animals to the times she spent with Grandma at her house and beautiful yard. She taught Julie to swim and they would read books and play with the doll house & miniatures. It was not unusual to see her in Grandma's kitchen standing on a chair stirring cookies for "Daddy and Grandpa" although Julie's little face had as much chocolate on it was there was in the cookie batter. My son loved her just as much but Julie was the only grandchild for 7 years. Marjorie told me that although she had 3 wonderful sons, she was praying for a granddaughter, so when Julie arrived Marjorie considered her a special gift from God. She and Marjorie had a special bond. Example of Marjorie's subtle humor. Once when she was 3 Julie came home tired from Grandmas. She dramatically told me how hard she and Grandma cleaned the whole house that day. Don't forget she was only 3. I jokingly called Marjorie and said "I didn't send over my daughter to be your personal housekeeping slave." Without missing a beat, Marjorie said, "Yes she helped and it only takes twice or 3 times longer when she helps." Needless to say, she will be missed by her adoring and grateful family and any of us that knew her.
