EDWARD ALOIS SCHUSTER
Edward Alois Schuster, age 73, of Oak Harbor, passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2018, at Whidbey Health Medical Center, following a brief illness.
Mr. Schuster was born in Valley City, N.D., on May 15, 1944, to Nicholas and Louise (Steidl) Schuster. He attended schools in North Dakota and served in the US Air Force. He was married to Mary Elaine Page on December 12, 1975 in Yakima, WA. He enjoyed reading and studying.
Ed is survived by his wife Mary, at home in Oak Harbor; his daughter and son-in-law Kay and Tony Winterrowd and grandson Tyler, all of Oak Harbor; three sisters, Irene Schuster, Marie Schuster and Helen Schuster, all of Fargo; one brother, Rev. Raymond Schuster of San Antonio, TX; also, numerous other relatives. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Wilbur, Robert and Conrad.
A Memorial Service will take place at Oak Harbor Church of the Nazarene on Thursday, March 22, 2018 at 2:00 PM. Interment will take place at a later date at the Fargo National Cemetery in North Dakota. Family and friends are encouraged to share memories and condolences at www.whidbeymemorial.com.
