The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of David Hildreth can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: We only just heard of Dr Hildreth’s passing. He was the most amazing vet we’ve had. So kind and so inventive. We missed him when he moved from issaquah. Our hearts go out to his family.

Condolence: My first job in high school was working for Dr. Hildreth. I used to ride my bicycle from downtown Issaquah (by the "new" village theatre) to his clinic, twice a day, on the weekends, to clean cages. I remember one day when I was there, he was doing a spay on a small poodle. He called to me and said I needed to come sit with him while he did the spay, because it was "special". Apparently, the poodle had an extra "horn" and the knew that I'd enjoy seeing that. So I got to watch him do the spay and still got paid! I am so saddened to hear of his passing. My deepest condolences to the family.

Condolence: Jacque and family, I was sitting here watching the Missouri/Texas football game. I shared with my wife and family just a few minutes ago about my childhood memories of Dr Hildreth and his family and how he was a Missouri fan. I shared how fond my memories are of Dave and your family. This led to me looking up where you would be living now and was surprised by finding that Dave just passed away seven days ago. Just know that the impacts we all make on each other are limitless. I have been positively impacted by your husband, father and today I am blessed to know that my life was impacted by your family. May God grant you all grace and peace. I am so sorry for you loss. I will continue watching the Missouri game with a smile on my face and thankful spirit. Today is my Dad's birthday (85) and his razzing of Dave loving Missouri still makes me smile since Dad came from Michigan. Know you are loved and thought of today, Keep looking up! Scott and Annette Delbridge

Condolence: Dear Jacque,
Our deepest sympathy. Dr. Hildreth was the best person I ever worked with/for, not only did he take great care of his clients pets, he took care of those who were fortunate enough to work for him. He taught me a lot and I have no doubt that I am a better person for having known him. Take care, Marty
