CHRISTOPHER “HAWK” BARTHOLOMEW
Christopher Hawk Bartholomew (known as “Hawk”), age 23, longtime Oak Harbor resident, passed away at his home of natural causes on Monday, October 30, 2017.
Hawk was born in Everett on July 1, 1994. He attended Oak Harbor schools, graduating from Oak Harbor High School in 2013. He was employed at the Navy Commissary. Hawk loved skate boarding and hiking. He was kind and caring, outgoing and friendly.
Hawk is survived by his mother, Theresa Bartholomew of Oak Harbor; his step-father, John C. Goebel of Oak Harbor; his step-brother Matt Goebel, in the US Air Force, stationed at Mountain Home, Idaho; his step-sister, Brionna Goebel-Martinez of Nooksack; also by numerous other relatives. Hawk also had a special love for his dog Emrys.
A Celebration of Hawk’s Life will take place at the VFW Hall on Sunday, Nov. 12, 2017, 1:00 PM. Family and friends are encouraged to share memories and condolences at www.whidbeymemorial.com.
