Connections

I never met Hobart, and yet I feel connected.

While serving a church in Kansas, a member asked me if I knew how to reach Hobart. I didn't, but I found out. And when I learned where he lived I called him. That's when I learned he sat near my parents at Oak Harbor's UMC. In fact, my parents told me he had visited my mother in the hospital. I kept minimal contact, but I feel connected. When I learned of Viriginia's death, I grieved. And today I grieve again.
