Condolence From: Carol Williams
Condolence: Dick and I met Jack and Betsy several years ago on one of our river cruises in Europe. Ever since, we have been close friends - visiting in each other's homes in OKC and Whidbey Island. Jack and I were early risers so spent many early mornings over coffee with much talk. And after Dick died, I traveled to Whidbey several times to visit Betsy and Jack. Jack was a fascinating, very talented man - I loved him and will forever miss him. Incidentally, I'm hoping this Christmas Betsy will spend with me in OKC.

Condolence: I had the privilege of working with Jack as my partner in the LAFD Arson Unit. He shared his beautiful voice and love for music with me. He had a great sense of humor and made our sometimes difficult tasks bearable. Thank you, my friend. I am echoing the feelings of the many Investigators Jack worked with.

Condolence: My wife Sharon and I are sad that Jack (my cousin) has passed. Even though we did not live close, we managed to stay in touch over the years. Jack and Betsy have visited us at our home in Kalispell, Montana, and we have visited with them in their home on Whidbey Island several times. We also had an ongoing exchange of emails. I will miss that. He will be missed !!!

Condolence: Dear Betsy, Although our acquaintance was short, the memories of Jack are strong. In a word, he was a happy gentleman: always positive, friendly, and caring. Wish the world would have more of him.

Condolence: Dear Betsy, I was saddened to see Jack's passing in the South Whidbey Record. I hope that you are doing as well as can be expected under such difficult circumstances. I've really enjoyed working for you and Jack, and I will always remember a few of the stories he told me about his work with the LAFD. He always treated me with respect, great courtesy, and he always made me feel welcome at your home. I shall miss him dearly. Let me know if I can be of any help to you in the days or weeks to come. Tim

Condolence: To my dear Aunt Betsy, I am so sorry about the passing of your best buddy. Even though I was only able to get a small taste of Jack's singing talent by listening to a tape once, I just know that heavenly choir is now much improved!! Please take care of you now and rest in many warm memories. I love you.
