MaryJane Hall


Beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, MaryJane Hall went to her home in heaven to celebrate a life well lived and in service to God. She passed away in her own home surrounded by her family.
Born 9/22/1923 in Kalispell Montana, her mother left when she was still an infant. Her father, a logger by trade, moved her and her older brother to Aberdeen Washington where she grew up and lived till after WWII. Life was not easy for the only girl in the home as she kept house and prepared meals from the age of about 8. When she was 15 her life changed forever as she was invited by a friend to a little church on skid-row. There she gave her heart to Jesus and instantly found the love and family that had been missing in her life. The pastors were two dear ladies named Sister Johnson and Sister Sayre and they would become her lifelong friends and mentors.
After meeting her future husband in the same church, she married Donald E Hall in 1947, moved to Bellingham Washington where they lived the rest of their lives. Besides raising 3 kids, MaryJane’s life was centered around the church. With her family and husband they attended Calvary Temple for many years, helped plant the little Open Bible Church, and were one of the couples instrumental in starting Bellingham Christian School.
MaryJane loved Gardening, writing, and the beauty of the world God had provided. Most of all she loved people and her family, and especially to see all know the love of Jesus.
MaryJane leaves her three children Alan Hall, Trish Gustafson and her husband Ken, Scott Hall and wife Cheryl, seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Don, Her father Thomas Whitehead, and her only brother Allen Whitehead.
Celebration of life will be at Life Church 747 Marine Drive on July 28th at 3:00 pm. Private interment. Memorial donations are suggested to Lighthouse Mission Ministries, 910 W.
