We Don't Need Facebook

Passing through the caferteria at WSU I saw Mike sitting at a table. I approached him to say hello and to remind him that I had a lingering "friend" request awaiting him on Facebook. He looked up at me and said, "Karen, I'm not much of a Facebook person. You know we're friends right? We don't need Facebook to tell us that."

No matter where I was or what I was doing, Mike always took the time to say, "Karen, how are you today?" He was always smiling and beaming with enthusiasm. The campus will not be the same without Mike! I will miss him.
