Paul Kuzina

Owner & Licensed Funeral Director

Paul has been in the funeral profession since 1972, and has been licensed in the State of Washington since 1976. Born in Eugene, Oregon, and raised in the Seattle-Tacoma area, he has been married to his wife Heidi since 1972. They are the parents of three daughters and have five grandchildren (as well as two in Heaven). In the sad loss of his twin granddaughters, he realized the importance of following his calling and starting his own funeral home.
Faith and family are all important to Paul. Passionate about his profession, he feels fulfilled in responding to the needs of the bereaved. He states,

"We only pass through this life once. No matter who we are, by the time we reach adulthood, we find that we all have 'holes' in our lives. Some have more, and some less, but we all have holes. If I can just touch some broken lives and help to bring healing and wholeness to a few people, I will have realized my destiny in life."

Besides spending time with family, Paul is an ardent musician, who loves to sing tenor. He also enjoys acting and community theater. He is active as worship leader in his church, the Oak Harbor Church of the Nazarene and is a member of the North Whidbey Island Sunrise Rotary.
